If there’s something, anything, you want to know about home integration, high tech installation, security systems – fire away. I want to start a conversation with you. I want to know what you’re thinking and why you’re thinking it – because we haven’t called this feature “Just ask Nick’ for nothing.
To kick this platform off, I have three questions below that we hear a lot on site…like, a lot. They may even be of help to you along your home automation journey.
- Can I phase my project out or do I have to do it all at once?
As long as we do the design we can roll out the project in multiple phases. This enables you to understand what you have in the system, what you really want and then gives you the flexibility to add on additionals when the budget allows. We don’t like replacing product, we prefer to add on more features/products which offer better value for money. It’s all about your needs and how we can address them with the best solution.
- If I buy a system now, will it be relevant when I install it after building my home?
The design is the most critical phase. We follow CEDIA’s best tried and tested practices and attend all their seminars on new technology and how this impacts infrastructure. Our goal is to “future proof” your house with an epic flexible design. It is important to choose a brand that is dynamic and allows you to grow with them. You want a system to grow with you so you can have additional features or add on products when you are ready.
- Will my system be protected by lighting?
There is never a 100% guarantee of lightening protection. Sorry guys! But – our BNC Technology systems are able to reduce your hits by 70%, which we think is pretty awesome. Our expertise and on-call lightning specialists have allowed us to create solutions that best protect your gear from lightning mishaps. We have protected the most important and most vulnerable points in our system to drastically reduce the risk of any surge or spike. If a client gets hit, we’ll assess the source point and then treat it to prevent further hits.
